location - Posthumalaan

A long and narrow, open location between the Rijnhaven bank and the busy Posthumalaan, right next to the Luxor theater. A line of grass is bordered with a concrete walking path and decorated with a few tree-pots.

distance of the power source: 1. ~35m (street light pole); 2. ~60m (old in holland lot, probably had some power supply???)

scenery potential: HIGH; open to the Rijnhaven and having no visual barriers along the whole lenght of the Posthumalaan; the gentle slope of the grass terrain with tree pots contributes to the theatrical feeling (toghether with the proximity of the actual theatre); oriented on the view on the harbour it does not provide too much space for an audience to observe waht is happening at the actual location; good for quick, linear movement, exposed to many for a short period of time
traffic: intensive (transit street); cars and motor bikes
activities: THEATRE (Luxor), SCHOOL (In Holland), PARKING....
signifficance for the neighborhood: the location is cut off by the traffic; in sunny days it is a place to hang out on the benches put alongside the walking path, in case of bad weather the place stays empty
